It's one thing to set a personal best -- and record the best throw in the conference so far this season -- a week before the annual conference meet. It's another thing altogether to best your previous best performance by nearly 11 feet in the process. But that is what HU sophomore Anthony Tyler did last weekend at the Meet of the UnSaintly held at Klas Field.

Anthony unleashed a 165-11 effort to win the event by more than six feet. In addition to being the top MIAC showing this year, it ranks15th in all of Division III. Anthony is part of a HU triumvirate that have had the best throws this spring in this event. Joey Grussing ranks second and former MIAC AOW Chsse Duwenhoegger sits third.

They will all be in action on Friday, May 8 at Macalester on the opening day of the annual MIAC Outdoor Track/Field meet. The Discus competition is scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m.
