Hamline University Athletics

The MIAC Swimming/Diving Championships are still a month away. Hamline junior Hodd Gorman is quickly rounding into form, winning three races last week as the Pipers competed in meets at Gustavus Adolphus and Macalester. 

At Gustavus, Hodd won the 1000 Freestyle in 10:17.20. That was his best time of the season and ranks fifth among all MIAC swimmers. He also won the 500 Free race  and was third in the 100 Breaststroke. The next day, Hodd finished first in the 1650 Free race. He was second in the 200 Breaststroke and third in the 400 IM. 

Hodd ranks in the top six in the MIAC in five categories -- the 200, 500, 1000 and 1650 Freestyle and the 100 IM Medley. 

The Pipers hit the water again this Saturday in a dual meet at St. Mary's.
