Senior leadership is about more than just stats. It is about timing, too. Laura's timing was excellent, indeed as the Pipers swept their softball opener last Saturday at Gustavus, 2-1 and 5-2. In the opener, she doubled and scored the first run of the game in the 3rd inning. She went 2-for-4, scored a run in the first inning and knocked one home in the fifth to seal the deal.
