Isaac Brooks joined some exclusive company Saturday. The men's basketball senior forward scored 18 points in the Pipers' 68-62 overtime loss at Bethel and became the 18th player in school history to cross the 1,000 point threshold for his career. 

The Lakeville, MInn. native now has 1,004 points for his 91 game career as a Piper. 

Brooks leads the Pipers in scoring at 15.4 points per game and ranks second in rebounds to Ethan Scheuring in rebounds at 6.4 per game. He had 10 rebounds against the Royals to achieve his fourth double-double of the season.

He played a season high 39 minutes against the Royals as the Pipers evened their 2018-19 record at 8-8. They currently stand 5-6 in MIAC play and currently own sixth place -- the last playoff spot. 

Brooks and the Pipers have a busy week ahead. They play at St. Olaf on Monday, January 21 and to Macalester two nights later. They cap the week with a Hutton Arena game against St. John's on Saturday, January 26 at 3:00 p.m.
