Men's Soccer Looking To be "Unfriendly" To 'Jackets Today

10/17/2012 1:38:00 PM

In Europe, they are called "friendlies" -- games that have no actual input on the league standings or status of teams. But the Piper men's soccer team hopes to make ti as unfriendly as possible Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. when they host Wisconsin-Superior at Paterson Field.

Both of the Piper victories came at home in a non-conference game such as this one. In fact, HU is 2-0-1 in their last three non-con home tilts. This might not faze UWS much. The Yellowjackets stand 8-6-1 overall but their regular home field has been under repairs all season. So, their "home" games have mostly been played in Duluth this season.

A live stats field of the game can be found by clicking here.

This the third of a four game homestand for Hamline. They return to MIAC action Saturday against Augsburg. game time at Paterson is 1:00 p.m.
