Freshman Goalie Hangs Tough in 4-0 Loss

The Hamline men's hockey team did just fine in playing 6-on-6 with UW-Superior Saturday night. Howevrer, the Yellowjackets were able to convert on the power play and that was the difference in a 4-0 victory at Oscar Johnson Arena. 

UWS went 4-6 on the PP while HU was blanked in five tries. Hamline goalie John Sellie-Hanson held firm in the first start of his college career, kicking out 25 shots.

But the Pipers were unable to take advantage on two five-mimnute power plays -- one in the first period and another in the third -- to fall to 0-5-1 on the season. 

Hamline now heads into their first confernece games next weekend when they face Gustavus Adolphus. The teams meet Friday night, November 22 in St. Peter and will be back at Oscar Johnson on Saturday, Nov. 23 for a 7:05 p.m. matchup.
