Box Score

Kevin Novakovich is healthy now ... and is becoming a force to be reckoned with. The sophomore, who missed much of last season with an injury, had a goal and an assist in Hamline's 10-3 men's hockey loss at UW-Stout Friday night.

The Pipers, who fell to 0-3 on the season, were outshot, 33-23, by the Blue Devils (2-1).

HU was down 4-0 in the second period when Novakovich (with puck) fed Tyler Gonzales for his second goal of the season. Zach Johnson and Novakovich scored (on a power play) in the third period for Hamline.

Hamline will gun for its first win of the season Saturday at UW-River Falls. Game time is 7:00 p.m.
