Box Score
Brandon Zurn got the Hamline men's hockey team off on the right skate but UW-River Falls ralled for three second period goals and went on to take a 4-1 decision at Oscar Johnson Arena.
Zurn (22) converted a feed from Grant Fahnhorst and snapped his third goal of the season home just 3:25 into the game. Unfortunately, it was all the Pipers could manage. Hamline (1-9-1) maintained the lead into the middle frame but the Falcons (8-1-1) turned the tide their way with three goals against John Sellie-Hanson. They added a third period tally against Nick Heimer.
HU was outshot, 29-24, for the night.
Hamline is now off the skates until January 10 when they host St. Scholastica at Oscar Johnson in a 7:05 p.m. game. Northland comes to OJ the next afternoon.
