SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Hamline University swim & dive teams hosted the Hamline Relay Invite on Saturday morning.
Second place was in the cards for Sila Yurttas, Ellsa Sorenson-Wagner, Milla Puente Infante and Nicole Phillips in the 200 yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:51.48. The second place trend continued in the 400 yard freestyle relay courtesy of Puente Infante, Case Skaja, Phillips, and Yurttas with a 4:07.19.
The 200-yard medley relay team of Nicole Phillips, Coretta Dawson, Milla Puente Infante, and Ellsa Sorenson-Wagner notched third place with a 2:07.94.Â
The Hamline men competed in three relay events. The 200 yard freestyle squad of Evan Poeschel, Tristan Popa, Andy DeClue, and Nelsen-Manfred Poscher notched a 1:42.29. DeClue, Poeschel, Gus Shaffer, and Tristan Popa clocked in a 3:54.32 in the 400 yard freestyle relay.
Four mixed gender teams also competed in relays for the Pipers.
Hamline will compete in the Jamestown University Invite on Friday, November 1 and Saturday, November 2.
