SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Hamline University swim & dive teams made the short trek to St. Catherine to compete in a double dual with the host Wildcats, and Macalester Scots on Saturday.

Sila Yurttas carried the Piper women on her shoulders with a first-place time of 2:36.03 in the 200-yard breaststroke. She kept that momentum alive in the 200 yard freestyle, where she took seventh place with a 2:08.01.
Fourth place was in the cards for Audrey Tschida in the 1-meter dive with a score of 131.65. Elsa Sorenson-Wagner prevailed in the 100 yard backstroke, where she notched fifth place with a 1:06.75. She kept the fifth-place trend alive with a 28.08 in the 50 yard freestyle.
It was another day at the office for Kevin Bossou, who paced the men with first-place scores of 197.20 in the 1-meter dive, and 186.40 in the 3-meter dive. Gus Shaffer prevailed in the 200 yard backstroke, where he crossed the finish line at 2:17.54 en route to second place.
Tristan Popa took second in the 200 yard butterfly with a 2:33.97.
The Pipers will compete in the prestigious Macalester Roger Ahlman Invite on Friday, December 6 - Saturday, December 7.
